CHOQUEQUIRAO CHALLENGE 50K

Choquequirao Challenge: a two stage race / hike on day 2 and 4 of a 5 day adventure. Not just a race, but a cultural and historic experience. The Andes mountains and the inka trail will make you a chaski (inka messenger runner). You will see snow peaks, a mile deep canyon where the condors will be your only spectators, and the majestic inka archeological site of Choquequirao that can be can be visited only by foot. No roads or train tracks to it! Average visitors per day to a site bigger than Machupicchu: 20 - 30.
